Turkish neurosurgical centres authorised for international patients treat high volumes of spine surgery and offer advanced technology including Gamma Knife and deep brain stimulation, at costs considerably below the UK, Germany or the US. For common spine procedures this is a straightforward advantage; for complex neurosurgery, the advantage only holds if the specific team has genuine, demonstrated experience with your exact condition, which is why this is the one category on this site where we ask you to expect a review process rather than an instant quote.

How complex neurosurgical cases are actually reviewed

For herniated disc surgery and spinal fusion, candidacy follows a standard path: imaging (usually MRI), a specialist review, and a clear surgical plan. For brain tumor surgery, aneurysm treatment or deep brain stimulation, we send your imaging and full history to a neurosurgical team first and wait for their honest assessment before saying anything is possible. Some cases are accepted; some are referred back to your home team as better managed locally, closer to your existing specialists; we would rather tell you that plainly than take on a case we cannot serve well.

How pricing works, and why you will not find a price list here

Spine and neurosurgery pricing depends on the specific procedure, implant system, whether imaging-guided navigation or robotics are used, and length of hospital and ICU stay. For complex neurosurgery in particular, no honest price can be given before a specialist has reviewed your case in detail. We ask the neurosurgical team to review your imaging first and return a written plan and estimate once your case is understood.

Given the stakes in neurosurgery specifically, verifying the provider matters enormously. Ask directly:

Is the hospital authorised by the Ministry of Health for international patients, and does it have a dedicated neurosurgical ICU?
